This report presents the results of reassessment of the biodiversity of Nha Trang Bay MPA in April 2005, based on resurvey of 4 locations (8 sites, 2 depths) initially surveyed in 2002. Species composition, community structure and status of the coral reefs were assessed using standardized SCUBA swim-searches. The four locations selected for this reassessment cover a wide geographical spread across the near-shore – offshore gradient, and lie within different anagement zones of the MPA, and thus may be considered an unbiased sample of the status of the MPA.
